This whole IC thing is quite irritating isn’t it? Been productive though, got my gait checked yesterday in an attempt to minimise the risk of ending up here again. So have a shiny new pair of shoes ready to go, just waiting and waiting and waiting now. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back out on Sunday, any rough time scale for knees to recover? Only been two days so far but there doesn’t seem to be any improvement yet.

That would depend on what you have done to your knee and how serious it is. If I were you, I would go out gently, and be prepared to cut it short if you are in pain. No point pushing through an injury...Yes, the IC is tedious, most of us have been there...hope you feel better soon, and where's the pic of your shoes? It's obligatory you know....:-)

Walking a few steps is bad at the mo so running is probably out the question for a little while. Had no idea about the shoe rule, will put one up after work 👟

Oh dear that does sound bad, I'm so sorry...I'm just kidding about the shoes, we just all like looking at other people's trainers...you'll be like that soon too you know....

Ooo yes, we like to see new shoes... delightful 😀

We love the shoes so it gives us all an excuse to review our own.... but as to the knee, you have to take the time to recuperate I am afraid. Hurrying back now will hit you hard later.

But we are still here and you can still post whilst on the IC to keep spirits up...

Best of luck with the recovery
