Well here I am on week 9 final week ! It was a bit of slog tonight mainly due to been a silly boy and ending up in the pub last night, considering I don't drink much, boy I had the most evil hang over all day long ! Looking forward to Wednesday for run 2 . No drinking for me for a long long time.
Week 9 Run 1: Well here I am on week 9 final... - Couch to 5K
Week 9 Run 1

I have been in the same place you have I got to week 7 and had a day at the races on the Saturday so on the Saturday morning I made sure I ran the 25mins on the treadmill before going out and told myself I wouldn't drink to much .... of course I drank too much and on Sunday I didn`t have the energy to get to the gym and on the Monday I was useless couldn't run and my right knee hurt after 5 minutes running (the knee hurt for about 2 weeks after) so and I gave up and felt so rotten for spoiling what I had worked so hard for and for me it was the decision I cant have booze and get fit so the drink lost out aiming for the 5k was more important than some wasted calories and a hangover i`m now up to running 5K and its going to stay that way or at least until I can do 10k
Yep... It's a evil thing that booze, I felt really bad in myself for letting myself down. But I got to pick myself up try to forget about it. Got my first race this Sunday so it's systems go push for Sunday with the correct food and hydrate properly . Good luck Graham with your running 5k on moving onto 10 K.
Last time I had a hangover I actually ran 7k and managed to get rid of the hangover. However it wasn't my fastest!

Drink lots and lots and lots of water before bed. Definitely minimises hangover -- but I agree, totally not worth it!

Go you....against all odds
hangover running the most evil thing invented since the hangover....
