Had it in my mind for the last day or so that I wasn't going to be able to do this one. I felt the same about W5R3. Got through both by reminding myself of all the good advice I've had and read here - slow and steady but also that it's a mind game at this stage. I'm enjoying striving to meet each target, physically and mentally.

It's about time you reflected on where you have come from in the last few weeks and realise that your potential is virtually untapped. You can do each remaining run and you can go on to do whatever you wish with your running.

Positivity and self belief are the keys..........along with respect for the next challenge.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Thanks, IannodaTruffe. Yes, have to pinch myself when I remember the melting mess I was after W1R1. I can do this!

The mental battle is key at this stage of the programme. Don't let the gremlins in! Stay positive, swipe away any negative thoughts before they take hold - you've followed the programme, you CAN do this. Sometimes a little mantra can help. I remember planning my 'successful' posts on here sometimes - that helped! Good luck.🙂

Great advice.... gremlins thrive on negativity :)

Thanks, Sandraj39. To push back negative thoughts, I started a positive stream of thoughts going back to when my son was born - over 18 years ago. That kept me going!

Well done you...as IannodaTruffe says and as I advocate constantly... positive thoughts... know you can do this...runs can become ogres... and some posts or comments may make this worse... they are just runs... and you are ready for each and every one:)

Thanks, Oldfloss - I can and will do this! I'm trusting that the programme has got my body where it needs to be for each run and I'll push positive thoughts to the front. Going super slow also helps!

Yes, you can do next week! Glad to know I'm not the only one who flops on the sofa after a run. My family say I'm doing the couch to couch! Cheek.
