I've done itπŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„WK5R3 is in the bag and yes, I burst into tears again but I think I've earned the right!!

I was uncertain about this run but I listened to all you lovely people who said it was mind over matter and it really was. I've never known 20 minutes to go so quickly!! When Mr Smooth told me I had finished running I was a little upset 😒 and thought that I couldn't possibly have been running for 20 mins but I had!!

Now to shower and prepare myself for a day in a classroom of 8 year olds!! At least my mind will be alert!!

Thanks to all for your positive worlds and encouragement so far, keep it coming as I think I might need it!!

PS-the photo is what Mother Nature offered me up at 6:30am!! Enjoy your day, whatever you're up to and keep running ❀️😊❀️

Kim, I told you you could do it! Congratulations on beating the biggest hurdle! Make sure you have yourself a nice little treat again, maybe not so little, hope the grin lasts as long as mine did after I'd completed this run!

Well done once again, Week 6 here you come!

Well done this run is a real game changer, it's your 1st proper run but when you've done this the rest are just a few minutes more all the way to the podium

Well done you! Beautiful photos. I run by the river too and think looking at the beauty and thinking how lucky am i to look at this every day keeps my mind off how many more minutes etc. I find it helps me to just zone out and enjoy being in the moment instead of thinking about controlling breathing or heavy legs or whatever. I will do W5R3 very early tomorrow morning ... looking forward to it now😎

The scenery completely took my mind off the fact that I was having to run for 20 mins today and it went so quick. Sending good vibes for your run tomorrow. Let us know how you get on 😊

Very well done and what a photograph.... that is enough to move anyone to tears..simply beautiful! I think I would use the quote I remembered in my last post...

"Come forth into the light of thing.. let Nature be your teacher... "

Your post is very apt... hope your day went well... ahhh... I remember them well!!!

You are doing absolutely brilliantly!
