I'm just one run away from graduation - I can hardly believe it...
For the last 2 runs I've replaced my music playlist with Desert Island Disks podcasts and wanted to recommend it for anyone who gets a bit bored with music and/or likes a bit of distraction. They're the right length for the later weeks of the programme, and they're a brilliant way to take your mind off aches/pains/panting etc. Sanjeev is still there keeping me on track, and his 5 minute blocks seem to come around much more quickly. I've always been a DID fan, and it's even better when running. So many of the life stories are inspiring, and listening to that, along with a bit of music, while you're pushing your own boundaries is very uplifting.
It might not work so well in the early weeks when you're stopping and starting, but in the later weeks it's brilliant!

Ooh might give that a try tomorrow...am doing audio books at the moment as I find I get engrossed and the time goes fast...think it does slow me down a bit though but not worried about speed as yet...good job lol 😂
So you and snack_shack on the podium this week then. Brilliant.
My very favourite programme! I have been waiting for podcasts to be invented all my life just so I will never miss another episode 😊. Great advice thank you and well done again!
