Well I did it! No faffing this morning, just up and out the door. My daughter came with me again which makes a huge difference, shes back in uni in 3 weeks so should be able to run with me until I complete the 9 weeks. I'm so pleased about this. I'll be honest though it's blinking hard. The last 10 minutes are endless and I'm puffing and panting and moaning and groaning. Felt slightly better than last time but still hard. Only 7 more runs to go until I complete the c25k. Haven't repeated any weeks or single runs, however that might change as the runs become longer.
Week 7 run 2 π : Well I did it! No faffing this... - Couch to 5K
Week 7 run 2 π

To run with no repeats is excellent. You now know you'll be able to run in your own in the future
Puffing, panting, moaning and groaning but it's W 7 remember W1 when you were the same?
Daughter running helps of course, at this stage it's maybe worth taking an extra rest day from time time. If I had my time again I would have done that, as the cumulative effect of your efforts add up. By now it's entirely possible that you've clocked 90km+ and that's from nothing only a few weeks ago... but you haven't fFfed and you've kept in step. That is a big win, well done you
Aw thanks jancanrun, yes you're right I did all that puffing and panting on week 1! Well all the way through. It's definitely a challenge and I'm going to take your advice and have the odd extra rest day in between. I'm back on night shifts from tonight so depending on how I sleep during the day I might be having the extra rest days over the next week lol x

Well done. It is hard but you are doing it. Try to take your mind of the time if you can. It is so much harder if you are trying to run down the clock.

Well done you I moan, huff and puff alot too ha ha ha but we are doing it - it is blinking hard at times . My w7r2 tomorrow π΅π΅π΅

Puffing and panting, moaning and groaning is our rite of passage into running! I haven't stopped and I graduated at the end of July!! Actually, things have got better very recently, but it takes time. It does get better, I can promise you that, if you stick at it.
And it is SO worth it in the end, promise that too! You have come so far and done so well. When you think about it, it's a really short space of time to get up to 30 mins from zilch (in my case).
What you've done so far is amazing, keep up the hard slog and you will get there and it will get easier. I even slowed down a bit after graduating. I might speed up bit now that I've stabilised my breathing from deathly gasps into almost regular, but still rather loud puffs!
From someone on the other side of graduation, it feels so good to have come this far (now) and I'm so glad I stuck with it. There were many moments that I thought I might have to give up if it didn't get easier. Then it finally did (thank God!).

Keep on going and good luck - I'm running the same timetable as you - so know how you feel - but we can do this!!!

Slow and steady and slower if need be... puff and pant but do not wear yourself out.. we have a lot of bubbly to share on your Graduation day!
Lovely to run with daughter too.. special times

Yeah I'm thinking that at some stage I am bound to have to repeat a run 7/2 tomorrow for me π€
