Just completed W4R1 and feel great! The only issue I have is I can't seem to get my breathing right until halfway through. I've followed the tips given on the podcast but they don't help. Any other ideas/advice?

If you can't manage 4 steps per breath, try three steps per breath, then progress to 4 steps per breath as you get into it. I was quite surprised that I could manage 4 steps per breath as it seemed impossible last week, but I was probably running a bit faster then... now I have hit the longer (3 & 5 min) runs in Week 4, I deliberately slowed down, so maybe that was the key to getting the breathing "right"... try 3 steps per breath, or do your initial run intervals quite slowly until you get into the breathing. Good luck!

Just breathe.. the way you do, every single second of every single day!
Do not attempt to match it to anything... take the run slowly and steadily and breathe
