Week 9 run 2 = drowned rat

So determined to finish that I started running just before a heavy rain shower but seemed to take my mind off the aches on my legs! Does anybody else run in the rain? My new cap is soaked but sure it will dry out before graduation πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ 😁

Yes lots of us do. I did my first 10k event in pouring rain.......once you are wet, you are wet😳

Running in the rain is lovely. Not if it's torrential or you are getting splashed by cars but a bit of rain is nice especially off road.

Does anybody else run in the rain????????

I don't know where you are, but most of us are in the UK...........what choice do we have.

To be honest, with judicious use of the BBC Weather app and a degree of flexibility on my behalf, I have probably started fewer than ten runs in the rain over the past four years.........that doesn't mean that I don't run in the rain though!

I'm in the midlands so used to rain!! So you wait until it's dry to run - think I will do the same πŸƒ

I am at present in the Lake District but live in Devon.....I don't think that the Midlands really knows about liquid sunshine.

In answer to your question.........it depends how desperate I am for a fix.

I loooove running in the rain!!!

Rain yes, thunder yes, lightning only if I have to.... just not black ice as I have crap balance at the best of times...

Rain and snow, yes, but I would avoid thunderstorms and hail. Even torrential rain is great and snow is really hard work! There are very few excuses my new me will accept for not running! Oh, excessive heat is another valid excuse.
