First time in the programme that I've been unwell and it's my graduation week. I'm all bunged up, feel quite lethargic and have a really sore throat

So the question is do I run or give myself a week off?

What would/do/did you do?

Put your feet up. Best to rest! Get better first then do your graduation run, you will enjoy it much more. Hope you feel better soon 😊

Hello! Sorry to hear you are not well but to be honest if I were you, I'd give myself a rest until better. It sounds as if that is what your body is asking for. The worst case scenario is perhaps you repeat the odd run when you are better but I doubt you'll have any problem. Take it day by day.

Hope you recover soon - maybe just a change of season thing?

Rest up... feel better and then have the run you deserve!!! :)

I would rest up :) If you go you shall only be angry with yourself if you don't do as well as normal, and just set yourself back and make yourself more ill!!!

I've run before when I had a rotten cold. Most times I haven't failed completely, but I had to plod more and walk a bit. Possibly I should have left a couple more rest days to get the worst over with before running. I think you're best to listen to your body and don't worry too much about being behind schedule - you'll get there in the end ☺️

Hi I hope you're feeling better? I would take graduates advice than from me, a novice on week 6... but if it were me in that situation I'd go with how I felt and run if I wanted to but wouldn't beat myself up if I took a day's rest break...

Get well soon 😊.
