You are not the first.........do a search of the site and read the replies and then the joyful post run posts.

There is nothing to worry about. If you can't complete, have a rest day and repeat..........that is the level you have reached.

But you could look at it this way. Your last run had you running and brisk walking for 21 minutes, between warm up and cool down, W5R3 is only twenty minutes.

This is where belief in your own ability begins to count. Each run has prepared you for the next........this is no different.

Go slow and believe in yourself.

Thank you, I'm sure it shall be fine, as you said every other time it's been fine! I'm happy it just sounds worse than I have built it up to be in my head !!!

This is the run that frightens everybody who does this but it's also the big game changer.

Everything you've done so far has been preparing you for this run and you CAN do it, just take it nice and steady slower than a slow thing that's been poked with a slow stick

When you've done it come back here and tell us all about it (so that we can say told you so), it is very very doable

I think everyone goes into this one with trepidation so you are not alone! If you managed to complete run 2 then I wouldn't repeat it, but move onto run 3. Honestly just give it a go and see what happens, you are likely to surprise yourself & if not then it was just a practice and you can do it again. Let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the kind words. Maybe your right and I should just go for it! Dunno why this one has been so panicked lol. All the others have been fine, the last one was deffo hard work though ! What week are you on? If you don't mind me asking :)?

I think for me it was the thought of no walking / stopping during it, but you'll be surprised at what your body can do after all these weeks of getting stronger. it's definetly more of a mental challenge this one! I'm just about to go into week 8, feeling a little scared of graduating to be honest and being left to my own devices!

Yeah I'm the same, I don't care if I'm going snail pace as long as I keep running. If I stop I don't think I would be able to start again.

Wow that's awesome about going into week 8! Congrats :) maybe start one of the 10k apps !?

Thank you, gosh 10k sounds terrifying right now but maybe, who knows right?! Keep that snail pace going and I'll look out for you graduating in a few weeks!

Well done Lizzelbizzel!!! After 4 days rest and building up courage I did w5r3 this afternoon!!!! I really didn't think it was possible. This forum is so encouraging and I can't believe this programme gets you running, nothing in the world would have had me running before!!! So chuffed to be running and enjoying it!!

You'll be great! I felt the same. The programme is so good, you won't even notice that you've done 20 minutes, other than you'll now need a bigger route! 😁
