After completing wk6 on Thursday morning I was so confident this morning that I could just crack on with the first run of wk7. Perhaps I should have left it another 24 hours, perhaps I chose the wrong route to go (steady minor incline til halfway then turn around and come back) I don't know but I got to 20 mins of run and could not run any further. I felt completely dead. My arms and legs are so tired and heavy. Any advice? I'm due to do r2 on Monday, should I just put this one down to experience and carry on or repeat wk6? Tia xx

I'm doing the same run Monday. I would just do that same run again and see how it goes. Use the last run as your practice run. X You've got this far, you'll do it.
As you get further in the programme, so you've built up the time and distance, and of course it cumulatively is affecting your bod too. Why not schedule in an extra rest day just in case you have a bit of fatigue? Then try this one run again, it all has gone into your stamina and km bank so will help you in the future. It's not a wasted run, also if you have the info just check your split times, it may be you set off a bit faster too. I found as I got fitter I seemed to start faster and that is bad news, when you're still extending your run time. Not saying it is the answer, but it happened to me.
Well done on W7 being reached and happy running next time

Lots of reasons why this happened... some runs are like that...take an extra rest day.. throw in some stamina and strength exercise maybe too... Our whole bodies have to build up. alongside our running legs..
Maybe... just do that run again to consolidate it and give you the satisfaction of knowing you did it
