I have a question though - should I be doing the plan 3 times a week? Is there a set amount of times per week etc? Thanks for replies x

Yes I did three times a week then had the weekend off. You can do it!

Well done for taking up the C25K challenge. The programme is based on running three times a week with at least one rest day between run days. In the early weeks you get the same run three times in the week before progressing to the next run. In week 5 and 6 you then get three separate runs for each week, and then the remaining weeks are three identical timed runs again.

I can't tell you how worthwhile it is, and if you can use the app or podcast on your phone that may be a help. Some people find the app a little difficult, when they are out of phone range etc. The good thing with the podcasts is that you can download them to your phone and then you don't need to have a live internet connection, so you don't worry about running in and out of phone signal. You will see some of us talking about Laura and she's the lovely lady on the podcasts who accompanied hundreds of us on our C25K journey.

Good luck and don't forget to post to tell us how your runs go. You'll get loads of support and advice in here. :-)
