I use Endomondo. I'm sure there are others but this one works very well for me.

Runkeeper

I've downloaded the free version of Strava and also have Nike + which came with my phone. Haven't used either yet but have been told they should both work with C25K. My brother recommended runkeeper but I can't get it to download with the iOS version I have on my phone. He swears by it though.

Sportstracker is a great, free app if you have a smartphone

It depends whether you are using the C25k podcasts or app. If you run the app alongside another app (eg run keeper) you may find they both crash if they try to talk to you at the same time.  The podcasts can play alongside any of the apps people have mentioned.

I like using Endomondo :)

there all pretty much the same, but i mainly use Strava as thats what all my friends use and is more social for me plus there is the NHS c25k group for additional support as well.

I also usetapiriik.com/ to sync runkeeper which links to MyAsics and endomondo so i can enter there compertions (i won some under armor stuff once) and also uploads to Smashrun which is kinda cool.

the only one i hated was runtastic as had adverts everywhere.

I didn't know you can have groups in strava! How do you join one?

I didn't realize strava account can be managed on a website too. Yes, I haven't seen any option to add groups in the app. Thank you anyways :)

The website is great you get the the strava flyby as well so you can see other athletes that where running in the same location.
