That is really interesting! Thanks 😀

Very interesting and supports what we tend to say on here 'slow and steady' !

Great article, thanks for posting. Realfoodieclub this would be brilliant information for new runners. A pinned post?

What is not clear from the article is that it is on your rest days that the body gets the opportunity to repair itself. That is why rest days are so crucial for the new runner and are as important to your success as your workouts. Following C25K to the letter will minimise the risk of injury.

I think it is great, I'm going to borrow it if that is ok and put it in the helpful links.

Ok this will take some time as I need to do some work on the pinned posts as we seemed to of lost the helpful links one, but it will be done this weekend.

I really like this article! That also gives new graduates (as I hope to be at the end of May) a bit of an idea of how long they will need to consolidate their 30mins if the part of your body that adjusts most slowly (the bones) takes 2-3 weeks to catch up. Thanks for sharing!

This is really good and should be quoted any time someone asks about rest days, worries about running too slowly or wants to get to 10k over an unreasonable number of weeks.
