Well I did not quite manage kissing the floor with my feet, still quite a stomp! But today I managed all 8 X 60 second runs - when I say run I hope you know I mean very light jog.
My lower legs ache like anything about half way through each jog. Don't think I am up for 90s yet so plan to revisit W1 for the next week.

Forgot to say. Whoever suggested RunKeeper .. I am sure loads have. Great idea. Although not exactly running I can see that today I was 2 minutes quicker than last run. That in itself adds to the motivation.
If you managed this one, and faster than last time, then I would say you're ready to move on. Maybe slow it down a little - nothing wrong in that - and I'm sure you'll have those 90 seconds in the bag. And if not, it just notches up as a valuable practice run in your running journey. Good luck, you can do it!
If you managed week 1 then move on. I thought the same about week 2. But I did it, just. And then the same for week 3. Did that too. And so on up to week 9. I think it was week 7 before I really believed I could do the runs. But it does work. Don't hold yourself back.

I am with SCB all the way, the programme is designed to stretch, there's no harm to be done in having a got at the 90 seconds. And if it doesn't feel good, then work up to the 90. Good luck and happy running whichever you choose
