I am so happy I found this programme! Although I don't tend to post, I have gotten a lot of support and encouragement just by reading other people's posts on the forum. This has helped me attain my goal of starting running again after a few year hiatus due to too many life circumstances getting in the way. I knew I needed to take some control of my life again and get back to running but was struggling every step of the way, until I found this programme. I love how it challenges you but is very attainable and the online support is AMAZING! So THANK YOU!!!! I feel like my love of running has returned and this can hopefully help me climb out of my mental funk. I signed up for a 5k trail run which will be a challenge, but I'm hoping is just the start to some bigger loftier running goals
Thank you C25k π

Yes I am and have full intentions of lurking on there too π! Thought I'd check it out once I get past this trail race in the next couple weeks. Trying to not get ahead of myself. Thanks for the heads up though.
That's for sure. I have a goal of trying to run the Beaver Flat Fifty, a 50k ultra marathon by the time I'm 50. I'm 43 now. It's a lofty goal but I walked a full marathon in 6h 5min 2 years ago, so I think it attainable. But first it's about just getting out there and continuing the joy of running without putting any major pressures on myself first. There is lots of time .
