So today is W2R1 and having trouble getting off my butt to go..been decorating and gardening past couple of days n no energy for running!

You can do it!!! I am on the same day as you and thought if I don't go this morning I will find and excuse not to. After talking myself into walking out the door I changed my coach to Jo Whiley and went for it. It feels so much better to be on the other side of it and proud to have stuck with it. Put down the paintbrush and put on your trainers. You will feel proud too x

You're still a newbie, so we will let you into a secret, the running mojo is a timid beast and likes to hide in or near your trainers. The longer the trainer stays still, the smaller and weaker the mojo gets. Don't be the person to weaken your mojo, put those trainers on and hear him roar!

How old are you? If you are over 90 we'll let you off. If not, get those shoes on 🏃‍♀️✔️👍💪

After a day of gardening or whatever, the sessions can be a real pick me up. You won't know til you're out there.

Im 50 and suffer with arthritis so unfortunately my body just won't let me sometimes lol 😊 my mind wants to go rest of me doesn't!

I hope you ran!!! I am small runner in training minder.. an old snail....and have gardened, cut my meadow, cooked and cleaned and I still did 7K with my daughter yesterday!

If you haven't run.. get out there.. you will love it! :)

No actually I haven't and I'm annoyed with myself. I have a bit of a tweak in my right thigh so leaving it til tomorrow. Thanks for the pep talk tho 😉

I suffer with arthritis too, in my hips, I ache most days anyhow without running so I thought sod it I may as well have something to ache for 😂 I did check with my Physio first before starting and I know what you mean about some days are better than others. I'm not too bad during the warmer months, so you know what they say make hay and all that. Keep going, you have made a fantastic start. 😊

If you're feeling tired have an extra rest day...don't over do it or push yourself too far....

You might be feeling a bit more energetic today though, so if that's the case, get them trainers on & get out there!!! Come on girl..we're watching you!!! 🏃🏼‍♀️
