Days off

I thought it was the weekend but i worked the weekend and had Monday and Tuesday off

Monday’s run, too hot too busy but toddled along for three and a half kilometres

Today I bought a car and this evening we walked to the top of the downs the birds singing among the trees and ran down and kept running and and jumping tree roots and laughing and it was great

Just pulled up outside home when a message came from daughter letting me know they were going to the beach, who could resist, a bit of social distancing walk and ball throwing for the dog

It was magic on the beach

We really must do a proper run tomorrow in the evening when it’s cooler

It means Willow doesn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to give me a lift to work when i have too many files to walk 😀

How hard to resist the call of the beach. I feel your pain on the heat. I tried to run last night with.my daughter. She went off like a gazelle and I plodded for 3.5 k before admitting defeat. 😥Hope it cools enough to make your run pleasurable.

As much ch as anything I think it’s getting used to the heat, I’m not complaining we love it warm, 😀

It certainly is getting hot down here! I shall be setting off for my run very early tomorrow morning. I’m so glad you have a new car and that you enjoyed a lovely run up on The Downs. I haven’t run up there yet but enjoy walking stretches with my family and our dog. Your photos of the beach are stunning. What a beautiful sunset. Happy running guys 😊
