Hi, I'm loving this program and the way it's making me feel so vital, energised and positive. I believe there is a runner in me and that is nothing short of a miracle. I'm on wk6r2 tomorrow. I'm very overweight and struggling with plantar fasciitis and lower leg pain, clicky knees etc. Any advice would be very welcome as I can't let this stop me...

If I was you I would see a physio. I seem to be recommending this a lot this morning. I am not a physio just someone who has had very good experience of them in the past, often for problems a doctor couldn't help with.

Don't let it stop you find that runner inside. It's not a miracle you got this far, it's your hard work (and that runner trying to get out)

Is it definitely PF? It would surprise me if so, as it's soon to get that I would have thought 🤔

Niggly pains and aches are par for the course when you get started but usually abate as you get used to running, or should I say when your body does.

A few days off between runs is recommended if you are still aching. Running if you are new to it, and exercise in general does make, your body protest at first. If you go nice and steady it should get better

If not, you will have to see a doc

Yes it's definitely OF, I've had it before from wearing flip flops. I can cope with it but I compensate with other foot when I first walk and other ankle hurts. Tightness in lower legs will improve in time hopefully. Thanks, may have to visit Dr... 🤔

I had this when wearing flipflops all the time then I tried fit flops and they really helped the pain in my feet and calf's. Maybe worth a try?
