Today I experimented with my insoles. Went for two together: ones for fallen arch (on top)and gel - (on the bottom)! Definitely a good move! I felt much stronger. How much better will it feel when I replace my old sad trainers with new ones!!
Oh, and first run in the dark - well for 30 years!

Make sure when you get your new trainers you go to a sports shop where they do a gait analysis and mention your Plantar Fasciitis, etc. they will then recommend the appropriate running shoes for you. If they are really expensive in the shop you can always come home and buy them online, but at least you will know the right ones for you and that they are the correct fitting.
Thanks, was intending to do just that. Went to Decathlon on Sunday, simply to do a bit of research. Not one assistant asked if I needed help, actually weren’t that many around. Even more sure I need to go to a specialist shop. Quite excited about it to be honest! 🙂
I love those gel insoles so much that when I get new shoes the insoles are replaced the moment I get home. I'm glad to hear your run was more comfortable, very well done!
