Another Saturday, another week complete

So I've just complete W4R3 and am feeling like this week has been a success.

It has been my most challenging yet for a few reasons....

1. The more I run, the further my distance. This has taken me beyond the nice 'round the estate route I like. I'm still trying to find a nice route I can do without stopping and turning around.

2. The run timings have meant my last run is up a small incline, I'm already dead, sweating and did I mention dead! It's a busy road and I hate being looked at whilst running.

3. I am also doing my sister's c25k with her too. She's a few weeks behind me so I enjoy her runs BUT I am still doing double the running!

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to come on this journey. I will soon be having reconstruction surgery on my ACL and who knows how long it will be before I can start c25k again. I know with the app and your support, everything is possible!

Maybe I'm emotional because my preop assessment just came through....

Oh eck! Courage mon brave 😩

C25k is the dog's wotsits and completing it will hopefully set you up for life

Good luck with the op and after a period of rest and recuperation, and physio, you, should be back better than ever. If you do get physio you can ask about running stuff

Meanwhile, on the injury Couch, you can catch up with your fellow C25kers on here 😃

Good luck with your op MuddyJane.x

Well done on completing Wk4. An enforced rest won't hurt you and you will come back keener and stronger than ever. Look forward to you continuing your journey when you are allowed.😊

W4 R1 completed today, found the 5min run a big step up & legs had a lovely ache all day.

Make sure you leave a days run in between your runs & are not over doing it by doing your Sisters runs too x
