Guilt free running....no I don't think so!

β€’7 Replies

My hubs decided to take the kids to visit his family for a long weekend leaving me to look after the pets at home. How lovely I thought so peace and quiet for a few days. Hubs suggested I could get some guilt free miles in whilst they were away, ooh yes what a fab idea. So whilst they were leaving early on Saturday, I was going to go to parkrun. But alas not as I had a tummy ache. Fortunately I didn't run as the consequences would have been dire! So Saturday was spent dashing in and out of the loo, followed by Sunday morning too. I have a funny appetite and nausea with stomach cramps, oh the joys. I was hoping to run a 10k today before they all return home tomorrow morning, I think I may be a little optimistic 😭 So much for a one off long weekend for guilt free running when all I have done is trotting of the other kind. Seriously gremlins I have a 10 mile plan so why don't you do one!

Love it!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (CG's post that is)

I think running is out today as I haven't the energy or the appetite and a few stomach cramps, what a pants weekend. Not a great start for my 10k to 10 mile plan, grrr.

Oh no! The Curse of the Dodgy Tum really seems to be doing the rounds at the moment. It's especially infuriating when you have well-earned child-free time and can't make the most of it.

Hope you feel better soon and will find the way to get back on track.
