I was dreading today with my heal blisters but the karrimore sock recommendation, blister plasters and going back to first run trainers and I did it. Good job this isn't a race as I'm awful slow but feeling really confident now I can do this. Thanks for ask the support so far. Awesome forum.

Have you still got heel grips in the shoes? I would really advise getting rid of those in favour of using "heel lock" lacing as the grips can push your foot further forward in the shoe. I'll find you a link to the correct lacing technique...

Here's one... there's loads out there if it's not clear enough

Thanks so much. Hard to know where you start really I'm a complete novice. This forum is great.

It's an education for sure! My jaw hit the floor when the run shop relaced my shoes... I felt like I was learning to tie my laces all over again! 🤣🤣

Well done. Slow and steady gets you to graduation and it’s faster than anyone still sitting on the couch. Keep up the great work fellow W2R1. Hope your blisters heal soon. 😊👍
