Hey I'm sure you can do it. I was amazed that I managed it. Such a good feeling! Let us know when you do it! 👍

Hope it goes well. You can do it. If you've followed the programme your body will be ready for it, so good luck.

You can do this , thinking about it is far worse than actually doing it - its achievable if you have done the rest good luck :)

I thought this when I did it! I had an odd 6min click in my head though, was HARD for the 5th and 6th min but then my body went 'oh we're carrying on, might as well settle into it' it happened and I felt like a runner for the first time. So good luck! It's a good week to be on!

It actually takes the body a few minutes to settle into a run. You will find once your body gets into a rhythm that it starts to become enjoyable. The problem with these earlier runs is the clock-watching. Try no to think about the time and just get into your stride

Whoop whoop! I did it!!! After 3 or 4 mins of struggle I sorted my breathing and my mind. Your responses really have helped and motivated - thank you x

You can do it. Slow and steady and you'll get there.

Can't do it without them... and 8 minutes, you'll do it, we all do. It's just mind over matter oh and wearing trainers too...

Well done!

Just bear all this in mind, should any other run strike terror into your heart.

Running is very much a mental challenge and from here on in C25K the psychology plays a major part, so believe in yourself and the process.

Is it trainers or running shoes? Used to be trainers in my heyday, but these days only hear about running shoes? Doesn't matter - I have a few spare pairs stashed where OH can't reach!!!! Still wearing my favorite running shoes/trainers as everyday walkers though bits of the soles have started to fall off.

Well done! We've just come in from completing run 2 as well! I couldn't have believed that I would manage 8 minutes of running non stop a few weeks ago. Especially recovering from a knee injury so even a minute if running was sore to begin with.
