Hi all, I have just completed run 3 week 4, I have also made the mistake of looking at week 5, OMG, I'm not going to start doubting myself or the programme, but WOW that's a week and a half.

The plan and you got here..........the plan and you will get you through.

Do a search and you will see your fears are common.

Believe.

Don't worry Martin_Rose I think everyone feels like that when they look ahead to week 5. I thought it was nigh on impossible, but managed to do it by taking the runs slow and steady. Much of week 5 is about your head as well as your legs and lungs. All I can say is try and approach it with as positive mindset as you can, knowing that many runners have felt the same anxiety as you but went on to complete the programme. You'll be grinning from ear to ear next week when you complete each run... so good luck and happy running.

That'll teach you not to go looking ahead. Do not doubt yourself. If you have finished week 4 you can do week 5. No question.

I am with SCB , Oldfloss says don't peek... for me I find it better to discover the challenge on the day so I don't talk myself out of it. But W5 is the mix it up Week and the satisfaction of doing it is unbeatable. Your grin lasts at least a weekend

Well done you!

Oops! Not a great idea to look ahead. But don't worry you'll be fine. The program has got you this far so have faith, keep slow, slow, slow and you'll get there.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Not what you're looking for?
