So pleased. God it was cold out there....ran against the wind for the second half. Very invigorating. Does anybody run in a jacket of any kind? I've got a Nike Dri fit half zip top and a Tshirt under but today I also wore a hoody. Don't know that I want a jacket but it was raining too.
Now for the dreaded week 5 Run 3. Arghhhhhhhh. Very scared.
Looking forward to runs 1 and 2 though Sunday and Tuesday :))

well done dont worry about that run3 , you will do it everything you have done so far is building up for it
I have Karrimor xlite jacket havent had to wear it yet ,just been out in a long sleeved running top oh and my running tights in daylight and no shorts on top
Thanks Rob. I was looking at Karrimor and they've some ladies lightweight jackets reduced to under Β£20 which look pretty good. I've been fine until today. I'm used to getting wet being out with the dogs but I felt chilly on the warm up walk and so did my friend. We were fine once we started running but wonder if it's worth just for that first 5 mins and the end cool down
Thank you. I am hoping that runs 1 and 2 next week will build up my confidence for 3.
I wear a cheap running jacket from Lidl I bought quite a while ago - I need pockets for a big bunch of keys and some tissue. I had it zipped up at the beginning but then almost took it off at the end of the run.
I have a cheap windproof jacket, Karrimor from SportsDirect. I've worn it once in a downpour. It is only showerproof but it did keep me partially dry. I wore it on a warmer day and had to take it off and then just bunched it up and carried it in my hand. It was so light that it didn't make much difference for the last 10 mins.
I have a bright pink karrimor rainproof running jacket which was Β£18.99 from SD. I wear it all the time and when it gets too hot I tie it round my waist
Running with a big bunch of keys! I would separate your door key and leave the rest behind
Hi Miss Wobble, yes I split my key off...normally my hubby is in so it's not an issue. I saw those jackets on a lady runner a few weeks ago and was staring at her to see which brand. She must have thought I was a but weird!!
I have the same jacket as MissW, but in purple. I really love it! I get chilly quickly if I get sweaty and damp, and don't like it! Not so bothered about th rain. It's handy to have pockets! I have taken it off once or twice, tied it round my waist too!
