Not a bad effort today except for the last minute of the run. Still push on. As I am behind on my schedule I shall be running again tomorrow.

Overall feeling content and my body is telling me that too.

Don't worry about keeping to schedule, it's more important to stay injury free. The programme really works if you stick to it and we absolutely need rest days to mend minor muscle tears.

Ooh please don't run tomorrow you need the rest. The weeks that the programme talks about are indicative not obligatory. I did back to back runs early on because I was worried about not sticking to the plan. I was daft doing it and regretted it after. I did it just once. You'd go so mad at yourself if you pull a muscle , so please rest and we will be spurring you on for a run later in the week.

Please take rest days between runs! Take two rest days if you need to but don't run back to back. Your body needs the time to rest and recover. It's fine if you take more than 9 weeks to finish the programme. Many of us here have taken longer (I took 12 weeks). This is long term now, and it's more important to avoid injury than check runs off a list.
