Park run - cracked the 40 mins

Just - 39.58 But with all of you sitting on my shoulders there might have been a weight disadvantage. I ran the whole thing again which is pleasing. Couldn't catch the 70+ guy just ahead of me though. Mind you, I've just seen that he has done 171 park runs so I feel less bad about that than I did.

Thank you, Rfc. Much appreciated.

Well done sheps, don't forget I was still holding onto Lucifer and he is a definite weight disadvantage. In many many years, you will be that 70 year old with loads more Parkruns under your belt... and a shepsMark 2 will be looking at you in awe. Although in fairness I am looking at you in awe already. Brilliantly done

Thanks Jcr. Not sure I should be held in awe. Awww, maybe, given the state I was in. But the great thing is the recovery. After a break for some stretches I could honestly have run some more. It's the slow that does it.

So that is amazing then. Keeping your pace managed clearly is the key here. And I still view you in awe.... keep going and inspiring me please

I've just looked at the whole results - the fastest guy ran it in 13.23mins. But, and it's a big but, he was wearing a harness attached to a dog and the dog was effectively pulling him along as he ran. Sure, he had to run but that dog was flying. second finisher was at 18 minutes which tells you something from a man twice the age of dogrunner.

Not what you're looking for?
