W8R3 - not quite what I'd planned

We arrived in Calgary at about 4pm yesterday but it took quite a while to get through the airport and car rental etc so not a lot of time last night to suss the area out. We had a quick look but all pavements seemed to come to dead ends, no circuits I could do. We woke up at 5.30 local time so I snuck off to hotel gym and did my first EVER treadmill run. I am actually very proud of myself as I had woken a few times in the night worrying I'd not be able to run on a treadmill and I really didn't want to fail when I've come this far. But I did it! I can run for 28 minutes whether it's on a treadmill or trails or even roads. Now for graduation week... can't wait!

  • Well done. A run is a run. Yes there is a better view outside. But when it is not readable, then why not. I tried a treadmill years ago, couldn't get the rhythm and just flondered badly.

    Well done you🏃🏃👏👏
