Slow but sure , week 7 done

Running has been very sporadic . Never went out for nearly 3 weeks as a 3000 word essay took over my life . Not got any excuses now but had another 10 day break then finally ran the last run of week 7 . Going to get back on track now , nearly there

Hey life gets in the way at times, but you're back and raring to go. Good luck as you're so close to the end of the plan now, I am sure you don't need it.... but hope the next run goes as well as you want it to

Thank you . Yeah at least I am still doing it as takes a while to.convince myself . Once I am.out I am finding the runs ok although.I am very slow but thats fine . I used to run years ago so maybe not finding it as hard as absolute beginners

I think you've done fabulously, Maggie! With such long breaks, you could still do the final Week 7 run - that's pretty awesome. I've just taken a mere 8 days off (I'm a new, unconfident graduate) and was terrified to go out today, in case I couldn't do it. I did take a couple of minutes breather at 20 mins, but struggled to the end, somehow. Was pretty ruined, so even 8 days off makes a difference. I'm going to try to be more disciplined and do at least 2 runs a week so I don't have all the rubbishy mental anguish to deal with. 😉

You're podium-bound before the end of August - would put my house on it!!

Thank you and well done on graduating , you have done well . I did used to run about 5 years ago , ran a half marathon but have no intention of running that distance again . Happy to just go out and run 30 mins twice a week .
