I was so exhilarated from my inaugural outdoor run yesterday and telling my OH all about it that when I returned home I forgot to do my stretches. Iannodatruffe has warned about this so many times and he's so right because today - ouch, ouch, ouch - sooo stiff!

Us 60+ lot cant bounce back quite the same as these youngsters but at least we're doing it. Keep it up, we'll get there. 👍

Yes we can... just takes a a tad longer at first, but after a few months or so.. no problem! :)

No, I agree with Hidden , you never quite bounce back to where you were before.....unless you work on renewing the springs.

I only ever speak from personal experience.

Make it as much of your warm down routine as the 5 minute walk.

If it is good enough for the pros...............

I agree with the other comments. It's about getting to know what our (older) bodies can do, a bit of trial and error. You'll get there.
