Week 7 Complete

This morning's run was the first time it actually crossed my mind that I might not finish a run. My thighs were aching and I felt very sluggish, possibly due to cheese and French stick at book club last night rather than my usual healthy fare, or perhaps it's because it's the end of the week 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway plodded on and got my mojo back by the end, not least because the farmer had just arrived in his combine so I had a 'finish line crowd'. Two more runs and then I'm off to Canada where I'm planning to finish the program. They do the red faced, plodding, heavy breathing shuffle over there right?

Cheese and baguette, lovely jubbly. Glad you plodded and mojo back in its rightful place. Enjoy Canada I adore the place, in Vancouver there is a thing to do called the Grouse Grind, if you're there check it out. But it's tough and that's where I saw the red faced plodding heavy breathing shuffler - oh I forgot it was me!

I would love to the Grouse Grind, or should I say, I would love to be fit enough to do it, but we're only in Vancouver for 1 night so, as we did Grouse Mountain last time we were there, we're going to do another attraction. We're planning on cycling the Stanley Park sea wall before we come back but I might do a sneaky run round there if it's not too far from the hotel. You know, just to show the locals how it's done 😂😂😂

Yes I cycled Stanley Park and it was fab, can't remember exactly how far round it was for a run. But I hope you have a glorious time Vancouver is a piece of heaven on earth

You're always going to have bad days. Fitness comes from battling through the bad times so celebrate that achievement. Canada is a big country, if you come across a grizzly I'm sure you'll suddenly find some extra speed ;-)

Thank you. My husband reckons that's why I started the C25K, so I could outrun the bears!!
