Now someone remind me why I thought this week was going to be easier than W5R3?
5:8:5 Jo Whiley tells me - "easy" - yeah right, easy, I mutter to myself sarcastically as I start off on my warm up walk on a dark & soggy August morning. No labradoodle man this morning, no Jack Russell man - they obviously didn't fancy the rain (very sensible).
I'm blaming it on the squats at boxercise last night but I'm back to the gasping moaning lead legged woman from a few weeks ago. Surely this should be easier than 20 minutes straight off from last week, right?? But I did get further than ever before. The farm track that I added a few weeks back to avoid the steep downhill section is now complete & I'm on to the bridleway that follows it. Bit of a longer walk home but I do like a circular route. Sad thing is that the ups were all in the run sections and the one nice downhill was at a walk - but it will all change nextime out I know. Wk5 R1 was my favourite- all the right bits fell at the right section of my route - even climbing through the fallen tree across the path fell right - I can honestly I enjoyed that one!!! If I could just recreate my form from that day........π€
Legacy from today is tingling legs courtesy of the rampant stinging nettles overhanging the footpath - they have been enjoying the rain obviously- its given them renewed vigour- ouch!!!! π€βοΈππ»ββοΈπ΅
