New shoes, comfy box

I just took delivery of some new New Balance trainers (I don't know what other users think of NB but they suit my wide, high-arched feet!) and the inevitable happened ...

Three pairs of trainers ago I had some New Balance. Best trainers ever. I still haven't managed to throw them away - they just sit on the shoe rack, lonely, knackered and good for nothing but the bin.

Totally get it. The ones these have just replaced are/were bright orange, light as a feather, comfy as slippers and I've worn the tops and sides into holes! But I won't be throwing them away just yet, even though I have these shiny new ones ....!

I did the whole 9 weeks in a pair of New Balance I bought last summer for my holidays cos I liked the colour!! I just bought a new pair of Brooks after getting my gait analysed. I just hope they are as comfortable cos they cost a lot more!!
