average depends on many things (age, sex, fitness level).
Well done on your runs.
This is a forum for those starting and progressing the NHS C 25k programme. If you are running 5 miles already I am assuming you are not intending to follow the programme?
Happy running!
I'd say your times and distances are above average. As Jacs says, the programme and (most of the people on) this forum are at an early stage of fitness. You seem quite far down the road in fitness terms.
Keep up the good work 👍
We have many runners of varied speeds. We try to be supportive and mindful that not everyone runs at the same pace and can easily feel despondent when we talk about pace if they, like me, are a bit slower than the 5km in 30 min. So if you were to take the average on here then you are an awful lot faster than a lot of our members at graduation but we do recommend that speed comes after graduation. So many speed up afterwards.
