Ok so 30th April was my first run, look what I did on 21st July! It could have been quicker but it's proves to all you newbies it can be done! Honestly moving from 90 seconds to 3 mins scared the hell out of me!!

Ooohhh, negative splits!

(Your times for each kilometre (run is 'split' into km sections) got shorter (i.e. Faster) as the run progressed).

Blimey who knew negative splits were a thing to aim for? The 10k in itself is amazing. Well done Carly. So maybe I could be doing 10k in October - mmmm I think you may have made me set a challenge

I have not heard of this either! Was just trying to make it home. Speed to me isn't important I just wanted to complete it

Wow. Fantastic achievement. Well done. I started around the same time as you. I am just focusing on 5k at the moment and trying to train up for improving my pace so as I can break the 30 min 5k barrier. Will start working towards 10k after the winter.

Thanks for posting, very inspirational and proves to new starters what is possible after 3 months. Amazing.👍🏃🏃
