Well after having looked at the week ahead I had to decide to do 2 days together as can't do end of the week so decided it would be today a bit tough the day after W5R3 but done can now go back to a sensible regime

Rest days are when your body repairs and strengthens. They are crucial and you, presumably as a new runner, are hugely increasing your injury risk by running consecutive days.

You may get away with it, maybe not. Injury will stop you dead. You have been warned. Far better to delay the runs.

Thank you I do appreciate that and up to now have had my rest days It really was a one off I will be good again now and have got 3 days at end of the week due to travel

You can have more than one rest day. Just not less.

We don't always get time I find I have to put it in my planner otherwise it doesn't happen

W5R3 was better than I thought it would be felt good to do 20mins get out if you can tomorrow going to be a nice day

Sorry I think I'd already asked you about this run.. you got very wet! 20 mins seems like quite a big jump ... need to just get out there and do it! Thanks for getting back to me

It's not that bad the thought is worse

Yeah that's what I'm thinking it's the mental challenge I need to address of completing the 20 mins that's making me procrastinate
