I braved the outside world! I was petrified of running where people could see me, but now I am running 25 minutes non stop, I felt OK to give it a go and it was good. So much more interesting than a treadmill, especially on a nice day. :-)

Well done. I too find outdoor running far more interesting than a treadmill (except when it is windy and I feel like I am running just to stay still)

I am at the same point as you and also contemplating moving from the safety of the treadmill to the great outdoors!

Thank you for posting your experience, you have motivated me to give it a go and save the treadmill for windy days. I can cope with rain but living on the top of cliffs on the South Coast on a windy day is not conducive to me running!

You'll be fine honest. It really wasn't as bad as I had feared. I think I was even running a bit faster as you get distracted. And it was cooler!! Enjoy!!

Coastal cliffs sound good to me, barring gale force winds o ' course
