I'm due to be doing W6R2 tomorrow morning....but struggled with the stop start on Monday's run πŸƒ am I best to stick to the 2 x 10 minute runs as per the programme or would I still succeed if I did a 20 minute run? πŸ€”

Any thoughts/comments greatly appreciated ☺️

I found the first run of week 6 hard as well after the step up to 20 mins last week. I'll be doing run 2 on Thursday and wondering how it'll go. Maybe the reduced humidity will make it better than anticipated. I'd stick to the programme. Let us know how it goes πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸΌ

I'm so pleased it wasn't just me that found it hard. I'll let you know how it goes πŸ€”πŸ˜¬

W6R1 always catches a lot of people, so you are in good company.

If you don't like stopping , just walk fast.

I just completed wk6 R2 this morning and for the first time really enjoyed running. I changed my route and felt like I could have ran through the 3 minute walk, but decided to follow the program and conserve my energy for run 3. Good luck this morning.

Thanks all - I did it but found it tough. Onwards and upwards now 😬

I did w6r1 on Monday and for the first time didn't complete. I'm going to have another go tomorrow - today the temps are forecast to be high 20s so I think I'll wait a day! Monday was so demoralising though 😩
