Does everyone leave a day in between runs or run more often?

Running schedule
Generally you should, especially as new runner but given my post above, I am not the best person to ask at this time 😀
If you are a new runner, please take your rest days.
When you run you create micro tears in your muscles which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while you are running.
Rest days are as important as run days to your development as a runner.
Definitely take the rest days. A rest day doesn't mean you can't do anything - just that you don't run. You can still cycle or swim, for example, on your rest days. I often go to a spinning class, yesterday, I swam 1.5km. Just don't keep pounding away on those leg muscles, running day after day, you'll hurt yourself.
I have my rest days. I didn't know why, I just did it because that's what the app told me to do and I'm a good girl
C25K has you running 3 times per week. Since there are 7 days in a week, you need to run three days and rest 4 days. So you'll have two consecutive days when you don't run. I tried to run Monday, Wednesday, Friday when I did C25K, and so had 2 days off over the weekend.
I know that some folks on this forum simply run every other day, and therefore complete C25K in fewer than 9 weeks. But it really is not recommended to run every day at this stage. You'll risk overdoing it and getting hurt. Then you'll need to spend some time on the injury couch and will regret it.
Some of the C25K graduates run every day. But that is something to consider for your future running career.
I wanted to get through the program quicker by skipping the rest days early in the program, but I read about it on here and then stuck with the plan. Some days I miss not running but it's worth it to remain injury free. I didn't want an injury setting me back for weeks. You will be surprised how quickly the 9 weeks go by! Good luck with your running!
I generally leave a day between each run but sometimes two. Never run two days in a row but always walk between days.
Always leave a day, sometimes two, sometimes three if I am busy.
Have left up to three days between runs pre-graduation. Left 6 days between final grad run and first post-grad. That one was hard work but maybe for other reasons (choice of route, punishing wind, etc)
