Congratulations on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1 and welcome to the forum, just take all the runs slowly, drink plenty of water the day before you run, no running on consecutive days, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, good luck, onwards and upwards 🏃🏾 👍

Just keep to what your coach says on the app, congratulations on starting week 2, run 1, no, don't continue beyond what your coach tells you to run, you could end up with a injury.

IMPORTANT, remember NOT to run on consecutive days.

Great for getting started. Follow the plan exactly as instructed. Go slow and slower again if needed and make sure you're drinking plenty water about 2-3 litres per day and not just on run days. C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

When you run the impact creates microtears in your muscles, which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while running. Without rest your repair and strengthening is compromised and your injury risk raised.

Rest days are part of the plan, which will gently condition your body to the rigours of running.

We can all do more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increased injury risk. Sticking to the plan will keep that risk minimal, hopefully avoiding an injury which could stop you in your tracks for days, weeks or months.

Take care, follow the plan and enjoy your journey.

I'm on week 4. Loving it. I invested in great ear buds and spotify. Other providers available. Down loaded my favourite tracks and now I forget that I'm running albeit very slowly.

Week four does it get harder as the weeks go by

My friends are finding it tough but I'm doing a lot of cardio between runs. Hiking rather than walking. So im enjoying it. I also now swim a length of a pool underwater

Just follow the pod cast. Run slowly...at a pace that you can still talk. Enjoy the beauty of the world and put your tracks on shuffle. My music list has about 100 tracks on it now so I never know what's going to come up.

I try and take my dog out between runs so I think that helps me I walk about 3k to 5k

I’ve just started week 3. My tips so far are don’t speed up your pace build up your time. Get some music on that you love and get some running trainers if you have dodgy knees. Good luck 😉
