Running
Very true AlMorr. Did you run with your Christmas jumper on at parkrun yesterday π
That was a very quick reply from you Buddy34, I posted it at 6.39 and within seconds got your reply before 6.40pm.
Yes I did, I ran in my Christmas reindeer jumper and red Santa hat, got a time of 32.38, there were a few other runners with red Santa hats on, most of the marshals also were wearing Santa hats, however, I thought there might be runners in a full Santa Dash red cloak, but I didn't see any.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to the hair dressers yesterday.
I MIGHT be at Drumpelliier parkrun on Saturday wearing the same gear as yesterday, not sure about that, can't run in those Christmas clothes if it's raining β.
Just in from walking the dog. I will be going to parkrun next Saturday then maybe leave it until January. π
I don't suppose you will be going, I certainly won't, but there is a parkrun at Drumpelliier on Christmas Day at 9.30am, no parkrun at Dunfermline on Christmas day, however, there is a parkrun at Dunfermline on NewYear's Day at 11am but no parkrun on New year's day at Drumpelliier, I won't be at either.
Yes I seen there was a Christmas day parkrun , I won't be going but I will be running on Christmas day ππ
On Christmas Day morning I usually take my neighbours dog Holly a short walk, in the afternoon I will be at Christmas Dinner at my son in laws parents house with my two grandchildren and their dog Poppy, I will be wearing my Santa hat but not that reindeer jumper because its far to warm to wear inside, by the way my son in law s father has seen me running around Broadwood Loch quite a few times when he is walking his dog, they live only a five minute walk away.
So true Alan. π
Iβve not been so good Alan and had stopped running, but now getting out again 3 times a week. Havenβt done a parkrun yet, but will start again next year. Our weather is not the best I ran 8km in a 43km wind yesterday and very glad Iβm not running today its pouring and 16 degrees. Hope all is well with you.
So sorry about hearing that you have not been too well recently but glad that you are a bit better and running short runs 3 times a week.
I am well thank you πI ran my 13th parkrun yesterday at Dunfermline, the weather has been quite changeable where I live in Scotland, we have had a lot of rain, then frost, two weeks ago I ran a parkrun in - 5C/23F, the coldest temperature I have ever ran in, strangely enough my time was almost a PB at 30.56, my PB is 30.55 when the temperature was+15C, anyway it was a good run despite the cold,
I just hope that you recover fully and can get back to a parkrun soon. π ππΎ
Thank you so much Alan Iβll definitely get back to parkrun, Iβd like to get a PB next time, so just need to get my fitness back. Your parkrun times are fantastic and especially in those temperatures. π
Can't argue with that!
How lovely
So very true...and in this cold weather it certainly makes you feel alive π
