i'm not on the ic but feel rundown and so far have not managed any of the week seven runs, i don't waqnt to skip a week but rather delay week seven until i can do it properly next week, is this the best course of action?

Definitely. If you're feeling under par the rest will do you good and you won't lose any fitness in just a week. Hope you feel better soon x

Yes. But if you're feeling run down, as counterintuitive as it might sound, you will probably feel even worse if you rest completely. Short walks in the fresh air might help in your week off. Nothing timed. No planned routes. Just leisurely strolls around the park or something.

Also, I believe when we're run down, it's more mental tiredness than physical. So in your week off, I'd recommend total distraction from training. Let your mind wander onto other things totally unrelated to the C2PossiblyMaybePerhaps5k program.

yes, I did that at w7 because I was on holiday abroad and it was too hot for me to run, so took a week or so out..

You won't lose on fitness over a week. Plan a day and a time for the next run then take your break and make sure you put those trainers on when the day comes :)

went back out last night after a week of non running, felt really good but couldn't manage the full 25 mins of week 7, still got a bit of a dodgy chest... not beating myself up over it at all just nice to be back out
