So I’ve completed week seven a couple of runs ago but I’m not finding it easy so I’ve decided to stay on week 7 until I’m finding it a bit easier. I’m
also going away soon for a week so hoping to carry on with week eight once I’m back.

Sounds like a plan 🙂 I know you've probs with your shins so no harm in consolidating a bit at this point. After a good rest on holiday you'll be more than ready to whoop wk8's butt 💪🏃♀️
Thanks. I’m going to invest in a fitted pair of running trainers after my holiday too so fingers crossed my shins will feel much better. x
Sounds fine, hope you’re Ok. Anything in particular you are struggling with, maybe we can help.
Bear in mind that almost everyone has at least one tough run in weeks 7-9 and that's simply a good learning experience. At this point it is unlikely to be anything physical in the way of progression by a few minutes more, but more about the psychological stamina to cope with continuous running (of course there are tweaks to make it physically easier - and if it is in your mind that your shoes aren't right then sorting that out, then that's going to be undermining until that's addressed) It's still OK to slow down don't forget.
People get scared in these later weeks very often and do various things to hold off on graduation (unconsciously) and being 'on their own' Sometimes a plan for post-graduation helps.
Its entirely up to you, but if you completed the week 7 runs personally i would move on to week 8 and see how you go...you may just surprise yourself. You are doing great.
