W5-2/3...Rafa made me do it!

After watching 4+ hours of Rafa Nadal, the adrenaline coarsing through my body was immense! So to clear my head (and heal my heart) I decided to get out and complete run 2 of week 5!

It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be to run for 8 mins (twice) but I'm putting that down to the overdose of adrenaline!!!๐Ÿ˜‚

Let's hope run 3 will be as smooth?!๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  • I went out for my run W3r2 tonight in the midst of Rafa's game, he had just started to come back in the 3rd set, (my son had 1hr rugby training too, so perfect time). Came back & he was still playing - amazing match too!!

  • Very exciting misswobble i was holding my breath for longer than I should have! Once breathing normally resumed It definitely made my run easier!! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ˜€

How did you feel after it? ๐Ÿ‘I still haven't done wk 3 run 2 yet, lol, ๐Ÿ˜ just not had chance, but will be back at the gym next week, so hoping I can alter my programme and concentrate on the weights and treadmill and do my podcast on there too.....

  • Thanks Hun! It actually felt ok but I am pretty sure it was down to watching the tennis!! I wasn't thinking about the run for the first time, just about the tennis! Maybe that's the key to this, find something else to concentrate on!! I do feel a bit achey this morning though, actually feel like I worked a few extra muscles last night, mainly in my love handle section? Is that possible??

    You will get to it, like you say, get in the gym and take it out on the treadmill and the weight section!! No rush to finish, it's a case of fitting it in around daily life! Some days are easier than others, I've had a couple of easy days work wise so managed to slip in the runs, but that all changes this weekend as some of the schools begin to break up for summer and I have lots of cats coming to stay at the Cattery!!
