I did it! I can't believe I actually did it! I was ready to give up within the first 5 minutes but I eventually managed to gag the gremlins and the last 5 minutes of the run were almost blissful!

I was very slow but who cares! With the 5 minute walks either side I managed 4.2k in 35 minutes so a while to go before I reach 5k but I will get there eventually :)

Week 7 here I come! Thank you to all of you who have given me advice over the last 6 weeks! You have really helped to give me the kick up the butt I needed!

xx

It does not matter how long it takes to get to 5k it is your journey just concentrate on getting to 30 minutes and you may find you get there without to much effort I got to 5km during the programme but am now where near that at the moment but getting back into it again times and distances are improving and enjoying it is the key I think.
