Still doing run/walk as the first half is uphill and I'm a long way off from being able to keep going for that distance uphill, but pleased that even a couple of weeks of C25K has meant I managed a new ParkRun PB of 36:17. I decided to go with 5 mins of running with 1 min of walking until I got to the lovely downhill bit and managed to talk myself into keeping going for the last 9 mins or so. Tomorrow's the start of week 3 of C25K for me but this proves that it's the consistency of getting out there 3 times a week that brings you on, even if you think you're not doing very much in those early weeks. Keep at it folks-you WILL get there.
