Good on you I did a 10k this morning and it was quite warm I had to settle for a Choc ice when I got in and loads of water so treat yourself and have a rest and then get consolidating runs finally don't forget your grad badge
I didn't either but times were'nt coming down and someone said that to go faster you had to go further so I tried it and it is true in the last week I have had three PB's on my 5 km runs
Very very well done. Great time for your first Parkrun too. That's a lovely way to do your Graduation run. I'm delighted for you. Enjoy your Chinese tonight and a glass or two of Vino.π
I'm delaying my graduation ... I will continue to run Wk9 R2 on repeat as my running partner is off to Ethiopia to do voluntary work for 4 weeks ! As we started this together we want to graduate together . Well that's the plan anyway .
It was hot yesterday but not as hot as when I did my first Parkrun 3 weeks ago! I nearly passed out! Looking forward to running a Parkrun in the cooler months π
I've not long started out on the c25k having never even run for a bus before, you have encouraged me enormously as my goal also is a local NT property park run with my friend who is an Iron Man triathlete so to be able to run alongside her will be really something for me, even though I expect my pace will be a bit tedious for her!
Congratulations!! A fantastic end to the programme with a great park run time - you should be very proud! Have a lovely holiday in beautiful Tuscany & enjoy some runs there. π
