I'm due to do week 6 run 3 tomorrow, but a friend has convinced me to do park run π...
What do I do? Shall I just run the 25 mins and walk the rest? Or try run a bit longer?? Don't want to undo all my hard work, I've stuck religiously to the plan so far.
Thanks for any advice oh wise ones of running xx

I would completely follow the programme through the park run. Start your 5 minute warm up walk at the beginning, that way you won't be tempted to take off like a hare with the front runners and burn out half way through. Then do your run and your 5 min warm down and see how you feel and how far you've got to go.
It will be an awesome experience and you're sure to have a lot of funπ
This is a good option. Another option could be to do the intervals of an earlier week - and tack a couple extra on at the end. However you run it, let us know how it goes.
Do a few stretches then Start from the back of the group, don't stress, run what you can, walk what you can. The tail runner will be there to support you if you need it. McFitty and Runswithdogs said it all.
I did it! I ran it all!!! I did my 5 min warm up walk to the start, then set off in a slow jog. A colleague recommended Map My Run so I downloaded that, and being told my pace and the time and distance really spurred me on. I did as McFitty says above and did my 25 mins, and I was at 4K, and I felt ok - I think because I'd taken it so slowly - and just carried on, and finished the 5.17k in 32 mins! Go me! ππββοΈ I came 466th π But was out of 580 people, so over 100 behind me!
I'm going to go back and do week 6 run 3 properly on Monday and finish the program, because I know it's all down to Laura that I did today, and I want to prepare my body properly. But so, so, happy! ππππ xx
Ps I totally felt like I was cheating on Laura with the Map my Run lady, but it was nice to hear my own music! x
