Just completed W4R3 however I had to walk for 30 secs in the last 5 minute run. I completed the other 2 runs for the week so i wanted some advice on whether I should repeat the run or move onto week 5. we have had a bit of a sickness bug in the house for the last couple of days so I think that had something to do with it.

Well done on your progress.
Try not to think of this as a tick box exercise. You are training your body to carry out a particular physical task and the only person you deceive, if you decide you have completed a task when in fact you didn't, is yourself.
Only you know how close you were to completion and how much difficulty you were having, so the decision is entirely yours. If you move on and don't quite complete the next run, what are you going to do?
To be confident, it would, in my opinion, be wise to repeat this run, strengthening your body as you do so, and then move on. All runners, at any stage, have to repeat runs when they don't quite hit their targets........it is a natural part of training. Once you complete that challenge, you move on.
I'm at that stage too and am going to repeat week 4. Having just moved outside I'm finding the change challenging and am not yet comfortable enough to move onto week 5. We are doing this 💪🏼🏃🏼♀️👌🏼
Thanks. I think I will repeat this last run so I have 3 completed runs before moving onto week 5. I am doing this for the longer term benefits so am in no rush to complete the program in a certain timescale. Thanks for the advice
Slow and steady is lovely for this job 🙂 No hurry, just dogged determination to carefully do each run,,have a rest day and do the next one. ✔️🏃♀️👍😃
good luck. Have fun! 😃
The sickness probably did make a difference and hydration more important than usual. Personally I would repeat the run otherwise the "it is OK you have done this before" thing I use to push on, might not work - I would have a niggling voice saying "have you?" and I would worry that I had not built up enough to step to the next level. Of course it may be that you could easily do the next one.
Thanks. I do think the fact I didn't eat properly for 2 days probably had a bit of an impact. I am going to repeat as I am in no hurry to graduate - I would rather do it properly and get into good habits than push to the end and find it too much of a struggle and give up.
It's a marathon not a sprint and it takes as long as it takes. You are up and doing and that's great 👍🏼🌟
